Now, onto more important matters. I got my exam results back today
Principles of Programming: 49/50 (I was expecting this. This is great, it means I’ve already passed this strand, even if I get 0 on Algorithm and Data Structures)
Introduction to Computer Systems: 31.5/50 (So so, this course was weird anyway and this is about what I was expecting. Essentially a 2:1, which is nice)
Introduction to Computer Mathematics: 23/50 (Very impressed with this personally. Again, in line with my expectations. I couldn’t get my head around ICM, so a just scraped pass is nice)
Introduction to Digital Circuit Design: 8/50 (woah. What’s going on here. A fail. And quite an abysmal one too. If I don’t get 64% on Digital and Analogue Circuit Design, I’m going to have to resit this or get kicked out. I really wasn’t expecting this. I found IDD alright, although the exam was harder than I expected. I remember counting the marks I thought I’d got right and expected to get somewhere about 26.)
So, my action plan? I think I’m going to have to reconsider my job at Argos firstly, maybe see if they’ll accept me on Sunday’s only. And then get my DAD logbook perfect and revisely heavily for the exam.
So, what’s the other thing?
My brother crashed my car. Well, technically our car. BUT HE CRASHED MY CAR. Into a field. Through a ditch. Numpty.
Now I know I’ve crashed my car too, but at least I did it.
I think it’s maybe a good thing though. His driving was dangerous before. Hopefully he’ll be more careful.
